Day 1: Arrive Barcelona
Tour begins: 6:00 PM, Le Méridien Barcelona. A transfer is included from Barcelona Airport to Le Méridien Barcelona. Join us tonight for a welcome cocktail reception and dinner at your hotel, ideally situated on one of Europe’s most celebrated streets – Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s iconic, tree-lined pedestrian thoroughfare that serves as the Catalonian capital’s leisure and entertainment hub.
Overnight: Le Méridien Barcelona, Spain

Day 2: Experience Barcelona
Walk along Las Ramblas to the Boquería and Plaça del Pi. Explore the Gothic Quarter; see Plaça Nova and the city’s 13th-century cathedral. Drive to seaside Montjuic, site of the 1992 Olympics, and visit Gaudí’s still-unfinished la Sagrada Família. The rest of the day is free.

Day 3: Fly to Granada
A flight from Barcelona brings you to Granada, set within the foothills of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. Tour the famed 14th-century Alhambra, built by Moorish sultans, where you’ll see the Royal Palace and the Generalife; your hotel is just steps from the Palace.

Day 4: Ronda / Andalucía
Travel to cliff-top Ronda for a tour with a local guide; see its centuries-old bullring, Moorish architecture, and spectacular views of Tajo Gorge. Following lunch, journey on backcountry roads through the whitewashed villages of Andalucía to Seville; tonight you will learn the secrets of the flamenco at a private show.

Day 5: Sightsee Seville
Take an orientation tour of southern Spain’s cultural capital, dating back nearly 2,000 years, with your local guide. A horse-drawn carriage transports you to Seville Cathedral, among the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, with its Giralda bell tower and the tomb of Columbus. Explore Barrio Santa Cruz and the former Jewish Quarter.

Day 6: Córdoba / Madrid
Journey to Córdoba, where a walking tour with a local guide takes you through centuries of history; visit the Jewish Quarter and the ornate 8th-century mosque turned cathedral, La Mezquita. Ride the high-speed AVE train – in Preferente class – to Madrid for a two-night stay.

Day 7: Explore Madrid, Spain’s Capital City
Begin a glorious day in Madrid with a guided visit to Museo del Prado, one of the world’s most celebrated art museums. A city sightseeing tour is up next, giving you a good look at some of Madrid’s landmarks – see Palacio de Oriente, the opulent Royal Palace; grand avenues; and El Parque del Buen Retiro. Join us tonight for a cocktail reception and farewell dinner featuring traditional Castilian entertainment.

Day 8: Journey Home
